The story
When I transitioned from figurative to abstract art, it was during a period of intense chaos in my life—when nothing made sense, and I knew there was no going back.
I found myself questioning, “What if the road to our dreams crumbles beneath us? What if the broken pieces of our lives no longer fit?” The familiar comforts of drawing, painting, and even words no longer sparked joy or energy. I felt an overwhelming urge to disappear—to retreat to a place where not knowing was safe and where it was okay to let go.
That was when a pivotal question arose: “Do you dare to let go?” The answer came swiftly and visually—“Dare to let go.” And so began a journey of releasing—letting go of what I thought I knew about art and life, surrendering to the unknown, yet to the One I know.
For nine months, I wrestled and communed with Him. Allowing my dreams and fears to intertwine with my art. It was a period of incubation, patiently waiting for the moment when I knew deep within—it was time.
Now, the incubation is over. I’m thrilled to release these new series of artwork, born from that journey. I hope these pieces bring meaning and beauty to your home.
